“I noted the hotel's central location is a genuine asset, placing guests moments from the train station, beach, and town centre. The lively pub scene below might not suit everyone, but it undeniably infuses the place with character and late-night energy; earplugs are advisable. Excellent Value and Location

easy access side door accommodating owner
The owner, John, was very accommodating and asked if I needed assistance whenever I saw him. The location provides easy access to the town center and beachfront. A side door to the rooms is available, so guests do not need to enter through the pub.
The shower could have been cleaner, as there was some mold.

affordable pint clean room
The pub's location is close to the station. I found it very convenient. The room was clean, and the pint was quite affordable at only £3.
The bathroom needed some attention as it had not been cleaned properly. I noticed toothpaste in the sink from previous guests.

average stay with some issues

noisy room metal frame
the location suited my needs for a walking holiday.
My room was quite noisy due to floor movement. I heard every step from above. the metal bed frame added to the noise, creaking with every turn i made. i expected quieter conditions.

Mixed Experience Due to Noise Issues

hospitable owner central location single glazed windows karaoke noise
The owner was friendly and hospitable, and the location was definitely central.
I was expecting some noise from the pub downstairs, but the loudness really surprised me. The old single glazed windows let in all the noise from the karaoke and the people outside. Sleeping before 2 AM was impossible.
